Others have tried to show you notifications on your stereo, but the apps convert them to plain SMS, which Big Tech then collects. We convert notifications to media metadata instead, and that stays on your phone.
Our TECHNOLOGY
How does it work?
If you have a car stereo that lets you stream music from your phone and can display the song title on the stereo screen, then you have everything you need for BTnotify to do its job.
When a new Android notification arrives, BTnotify will temporarily display the message on the screen where the song title would normally be displayed. When the message has finished being displayed, your stereo screen will return to showing the song title for whatever you’re listening to.
Not only that, but if your screen also shows the artist and album, BTnotify will show the message sender and the app name instead.
You can configure BTnotify to scroll through the message as quickly as you like, and to repeat as many times as you like.
Getting the most from your apps
BTNotify can display notifications from any Android app that generates them. However, to really get the most out of your BTnotify experience, it helps to configure your app to show the full body of the message in the notification it generates. Here’s how to do it.

Good news for Android Auto users
When we started working on BTnotify, it was written for the people who have cars with Bluetooth stereos, but were built before Android Auto became as common as it is now.
Still, we wanted to build an app that would make driving a little easier for our friends with newer cars.
